Partners Play six holes best ball, six holes scramble, and six holes scotch. A scotch starts with both partners hitting a drive on the first scotch hole. After choosing which partner's ball will be used for the second shot, players alternate shots until the last putt of the last scotch hole is putted.
Teams are paired by the pro shop based on an individual's handicap. Each team has an A player with the lowest handicap, a B player with the next highest handicap, a C player with the next highest handicap, and a D player with the highest handicap.
This is a team event in which each member of the team (2-4 players) plays her own ball. At the end of each hole, the lowest net score of the team is recorded. In a "two best ball format" the two lowest net scores of the team (3-4 players) are recorded.

On each hole, the first player to reach the green is declared the winner of Bingo. When all the players are one the green, the one closest to the pin wins Bango. The first player to put their ball in the hole is the winner of Bongo. Count 1 point for each. At the end of play, player with the most points wins.
Score is based on nine holes selected after the field has teed off. Clubhouse draws the nine holes and gives to Play Day Chair after competition of the round.
Subtract 18 hole handicap from 54 to get points needed Eagle=5 points, Birdie=4 points, Par=3 points, Bogey=2 points, Double=1 point.
Players will play 18 holes, but on the scores of the 9 easiest holes will be used.

Each competitor receives a flag with her name on it. Play proceeds until player's number of strokes equals her "number" (72 minus handicap). The flag is put in the ground where the ball lands. Extra holes may be needed to reach the "number". Winner is the farthest flag.
A fourball match consists of two teams of two players competing directly against each other. Each golfer plays her own ball throughout the round. The team posts the lowest net score of the two players on each hole. Scores are added normally and the team with the lower score at the end of the match wins 1 point.

Add scores on Par 4s only. Deduct half your handicap.

Count strokes ON the green. Hole the ball; no gimmes.
Each lass plays her own game and records gross scores. Pro shop will draw 4-person teams after play has started. The net scores from each team are added together for the "Lucky" team score. The winner is the team with the lowest combined net score.
Individual play hole by hole with one player against another. The hole is won (1 point) by the player with the lowest net score on each hole. The match is won when one player's lead is greater than the number of remaining holes. USGA has specific rules which apply to Match Play.
Before the round starts the group will need to determine how many "meetoos" each player will have during the round. If you find yourself in a bad spot you ca move your ball to where someone else is and hit your next shot from there. You and the other players will both shoot from the same spot. This can be done on any shot on the course.
Six holes in Match Play format with two competitors playing six holes and winning one point for each hole won and 1/2 point for each hole tied. Instead of using handicaps in the normal fashion, no alibis players may replay a certain number of shots during the round. Usually, the number of replays is 3/4s of a player's handicap. When replaying, the golfer must use the second shot, regardless of where it goes. He can't decide to play his first ball and he can't replay the same shot twice.
Add scores on odd holes only. Deduct half your handicap.
Add scores on odd holes beginning with an O, S, E or N. Deduct half your handicap.
One player takes the front nine, the other takes the back. Your choice can be made after play ends. Deduct handicap average from the combined score.
Circle two par 3s, five par 4s, and two par 5s before you start and those are the holes you count. Deduct half of your handicap.
This can be played in groups of 2, 3 or 4, and is similar to playing with mulligans. Everyone gets one kick mulligan per hold. If you don't like where your shot ended up you can kick it to a new spot and take your kick mulligan.
Revert three worst holes to par. Deduct your full handicap.
Team event pairing members of opposing teams playing against each other in three different formats: Fourball, Match Play, and Cat Fight. The Pro Shop sets teams at beginning of the year by handicaps of all players. Members of each team sign up if they are able to play each month. The number playing each time will depend on the total number of members available to play that month. The team with the lowest available members will set the number playing. Each player will hit a drive. The team will then select the "best ball" and play from that spot. All four players will move their ball to that position and play form there. This format will continue until the ball is holed. Each player's drive must be used at least 2 times.
Each player will tee off on every hole. The best drive is selected and all players will play their own ball from that spot.
This format is the same as the scramble except the player's ball that is chosen will have to "step aside" for the next shot. All four players can putt once the ball is on the putting green.
Subtract putts from the gross scores.
No one knows the game but the Club Pro.
Add scores on holes beginning with the letter T and F. Deduct half your handicap.
Play 18 holes. If your course handicap is in the teens, throw out one hole; twenties - throw out 2 holes ; thirties - throw out 3 holes. Subtract all of your course handicap. Low score wins.
Subtract Par 3s from your gross score. Deduct half of your handicap.
Subtract Par 5s from your gross score. Deduct half your handicap.
